$100,000 Traffic Study.

Pardon me please.... but didn't downtown Ocean City go through a revitalization plan and renovation, a virtually complete rebuilding of traffic lanes as such, in the last decade.
Somebody must have really screwed up if after all the work done on the roads in the last two decades, is all wrong ?     No that can't be...  it just means the tax payers get screwed again by the Town Council of Ocean City spending their money as though it was their own.   The reason for the study was traffic congestion south of 17th Street.

Results of the $100,000 commissioned Traffic Study.
1.)  More signs.
2.)  More parking meters, higher inlet parking fees, high traffic fines. (That always
decreases  traffic, you know, just another reason for people NOT to go to Ocean City.
3.)  Change traffic signal timing.  So that they work right in the first place.
4.)  Two way streets into one way streets [sic] ie: easier for people to get the hell out.
5.)  Extend the bus lane south.
6.)  More parking areas... uh.. like where ?  Here come the garage, here comes the garage.
7.)  Sidewalks.
8.)  A new Route 50 Inlet Bridge, especially one that doesn't smell like cut mullet and squid.

There were forty or so recommendations, but the other ones must have been so stupid they have failed to be mentioned.

We know it's tough for the town to figure these things out themselves, or specificly somebody in the town that could stand up and say they knew what they were doing.
But for a town that bacically needs a study to tell them where the beach is, because we know the town council never goes there,  maybe $100,000 is a deal ?  or Is it a steal ?
