Gambling coming to Ocean City?

Well if you haven't heard, a big uproar this week in China that resulted in the banning of the Nike ad that featured star NBA player LeBron James.   The ad depicted Mr. James fighting a kungfu master, some ladies, and a dragon.   The ad was banned because:  (link)
"violated China's temporary advertising regulations" which require all advertisements to "uphold national dignity and respect Chinese culture."

"It also violated rules that require advertisements not to "blaspheme national practices and cultures."

In other news from China, Playboy is now open in Shanghai.     Well you knew that was coming once McDonald's opened the door.

Back here in Ocean City all is still the same.   People still discuss about gambling coming to town, some just say it is just a matter of time.     Remember,   once upon a time nobody thought a McDonald's would be in Ocean City.    There even had to be a discussion  about it in the town council meeting.   Discussions bantered with the thought that the fast food conglomerates would ruin the atmosphere of the quaint Atlantic Resort.

If only we had known McDonald's would be passing off imposter star representatives of the Eastern Shore's National Treasures, action could have been taken.  Can you imagine the "Maryland Crab Cake" on the dollar menu?   and what about that fish sandwich?  square fish??
These things would have

"violated Eastern Shore's temporary eating regulations" which require all establishments to uphold local dignity and respect for the Shore culture."

"It also violated rules that require food establishments not to "blaspheme Shore practices and cultures."

Gambling coming to Ocean City Maryland.... well we aren't sure yet.    But please.... ban that thing they call a crab cake at MickeyDee's
