Man pulls a Houdini and Escapes Police.

 A prisoner escaped police and remains at large in Ocean City Maryland.

Eric Curley arrested June 13th in Ocean City for burglary, malicious destruction, traffic offenses and a handgun violation - was being transported from jail to court.

Police don't know how Eric Curley was able to escape while he was in handcuffs and shackles.   When the police opened the rear of the police van he escaped on foot to the beach.

40 police officers seached for over 8 hours and still were unable to find Curley.

Curley escaped near 70th Street, temporarily kidnapped a young woman forcing her to withdrawl money from an ATM at the Holiday Inn.    After obtaining a cab went to farmland near Seaford, and further eluded police.
