Bay Cafe and Whiskey Joe's Closing

 After a decent stretch at a risky location along Route 54 in Delaware just outside Ocean City Maryland, the Bay Cafe Restaurant and Whiskey Joe's is closing.

A closing party October 10 will be held starting at 11a.m.    Approximately 30 townhouses are expected to be built in the future, by either the Balsamo family or somebody else.     Whether or not the Balsamo family will actually stay in the restaurant business and open somewhere else is undertermined at this time.    D.J. Lucky and D.J. Chuck will be entertaining on the final day closing party.

While offering a decent quisine, and excellent view, lots of parking, a neat bar and occasionally respectable entertainment..... it just wasn't enough.    A lack of public transportation, poor road accessiblility at times, down turn in business from Slower Delaware's road construction, or just frustration... The small corridor of businesses spins a revolving door along Route 54 in Delaware, just outside of Ocean City Maryland.
