Ocean City Airport Land appraisals... help we can't find the land...

 They said this, they said that... and they didn't return our calls.... so says the Ocean City Maryland town over the land the FAA is seeking reimbursement.    Currently the town of Ocean City Maryland needs to have the land appraised, again.   The FAA wants approximately $13 million for the land but the previous appraisals obtained by the town have the land between $167,000 and $1.6 million.

In the late 1970 the 300 acres parcel was purchased with a GRANT from the FAA with the intention for a planned expansion of the airport.    When the airport never grew the town obtained permission from the FAA to use a portion of the land for a golf course.

Currently the town is not sure which parcels of land are to be appraised and the FAA has rejected the previous offers.    If the town doesn't know which parcels of land are to be appraised... uhhhh... how did they figure out what to appraise for the previous... appraisals.
