Ocean City Maryland has been ranked number two in the nation for Festive Holiday Lighting.

        Number one ranked was Disney.    The Chamber of Commerce will be giving their appreciation to the citizens and business for their participation in beautifying the town during this festive and joyous season.      The Annual Lighting Contest will take place on Saturday December 17 throughout the town.   Judges will tour the town viewing and critiquing the variety of displays.

Five categories of competition will be:

Residential
Hotel Motel
Condominium and Associations
Restaurant
Business  .

Criteria for judging will be creativity and overall effect,
   along with time and effort.
The Chamber of Commerce thanks all the businesses and citizens for their participation in beautifying the Town of Ocean City, especially during the Christmas and Holiday Season.
