I agree, an all ages night club is not a good idea if we want a town that will have some semblance of order. Keep the family tradition. Isn't that what vacations are about. For family's to spend time together? | ||

What's the Mayor up to now??? In the only if it's in your interest column we find the Mayor of Ocean City and council of ghouls trying to slide in again with their Downtown Posse a project that would otherwise deem inappropriate.... The idea of opening up an all-ages-club on his building on Worcester Street. Does this project coincide with the RAM project's objectives... I seriously doubt it. We can easily look back to the ads that ran on TV about the previous all ages club... that showed us the generic MTV hoop-a-la and Britney Spears wannabe-be's. Lets see, dimly lit area, crowds, lack of adequate security, unsupervised by parents... The all ages clubs are certainly not the supervised "High School Dances" we grew up with in our youth. The parents that come to Ocean City and pawn their children off to roam the boardwalk unsupervised and activities like an all ages club are nothing less than negligent of their responsibilities. Remember the Mayor chastising the owners of the previous all ages club that the business resulted in nothing less than a police state... And what about the neighbors in the area, we suppose that since the Mayor is associated with the project all complaints will certainly fall to deaf ears. |
