Has anyone heard about the surfing beaches for this summer? I heard last fall that they were thinking about having 3 rather than 2 this year. Have you had a problem with lifeguards calling you out at 10:00 when nobody was even in the water? I think we should be able to stay in unless there are swimmers nearby. What do you think? Maybe we could start some kind of petition for the City Council and Beach Patrol. Will anyone back me up on this? It seems so ludicrous to not allow surfing when its not good for swimmers ( big rips, bad weather, etc...) I know that they occasionally modify, but it seems like they are on power trips! |

Does anybody know where the 2000 surfing beaches are posted? when will they be up on this site? The surf shops have not even gotten any information either. Does that mean we can surf wherever? haha |
