Search Engine Hierarchy

The first Search Engine starts with DMOZ which claims

it s self to be an open source directory, that is, it uses unbiased

human editors to critique entries for submission to its.

I imagine in a lot of instances it is unbiased. We ll show

you later how we think it is biased. Search engines

like DMOZ that use human editors are extremely

labor intensive, this is mostly why the other engines

use robots and spiders , or they rely on DMOZ for their

information.

Try a search on DMOZ, save it or open another page,

then go AOL s search engine... And do the same search.

Not only will you find the exact same information, but

virtually the same format, and most importantly of all,

the same editors. So what does this mean... We believe

that the editors in DMOZ are receiving a compensation

for their efforts. By being able to manipulate DMOZ

Open Source Directory for their personal gains, a collusion

with others for collateral gains. If you are not on DMOZ,

then the millions on AOL search won t find you. You saw

that for yourself, AOL search directly uses DMOZ

DMOZ makes this statement on their submission or

add url page link.... Partner sites [which] use the Open

Directory data, such as AOL Search, Altavista, HotBot,

Google, Lycos, Netscape, etc...

Partner implies one who joins in an activity with another

or others; specif., one or two or more persons owning

jointly a business. Business do operate without profit,

but we believe that this business does not. Services

rendered by editors at DMOZ, are being

compensated directly or indirectly. Directly by being

paid from people making submission in the DMOZ

directory, or by reselling their expertise to either web

submission experts/web marketers... i.e. Pay For Placement

schemes.

Pay for placement schemes will involve Cloaking

Techniques, the Las Vegas Spider Scheme, or directly

paying a search engine for placement. We also

believe that by use of techniques similar to denial of

service attacks, enough 404 errors will be returned

to remove someone s listing temporarily, or sufficiently

enough to insert a reverse Cloak.....

Try for yourself on the Top used search engines the

same search... Use Ocean City Maryland. You will find

nearly the exact or same placement or listings.

What does finding the exact or nearly same listing

indicate about the search engine market?

Monopolies operate under conditions where there is

no segregation of product, entrance into the market

is difficult, their are a few number of participants

(we have many participants but they openly tell us they

are working together), there is no differentiation of the product.

REMEMBER when you do your test search.. On

Ocean City Maryland, past the top 20 listings are

considered lost because the user has neither the

patience or inclination to go past that query number.

THE LISTING IS PRESUMED TO BE ACCURATE

AND A FAITHFUL RETURN FROM THE SEARCH QUERY
